What's included in the price?

Yes, we're a nonprofit, and yes there is still a cost to camp because, insurance. During the week-long camp your daughter will have a $1,000 retreat experience for only $350 that includes:

  • Daily yoga
  • Daily hiking
  • Half day of sailing on the Jordanelle
  • Professionally led mindfulness activities
  • Daily group discussion led by wellness professionals
  • Healthy food & snacks
  • Individual massage
  • The opportunity to speak with local female professionals
  • Personality assessment used by Fortune 500 companies
  • Creative projects
  • Service work that can be used on college applications
  • Photography project led by professional photographer
  • Leadership, stress management, and negotiation skills taught by professionals

Who are the camp counselors?

Great question. The counselor to camper ratio is 5:1 and all counselors identify as women. Again, it's not that we don't like boys, but sometimes their presence interferes with being our true authentic selves. Counselors are all at least 18 years of age, are handpicked by our co-founders and are required to pass a background check, be CPR & First Aid certified, and enjoy the outdoors.

self-care 101

We feel very fortunate to have wellness guru, Monica Faux-Kota on our board of directors, and she will be volunteering her time to talk with girls all things self-care. Monica will use breathing, meditation, mindfulness, self massage, and embodied practices to explore internal dialogue, stress-management, integrity, and connection with self & other.

YOGA

Co-founders, Jessica & Christian will be offering daily yoga practice (no yoga experience necessary). While know that activity increases happiness and wellbeing, yoga practice isn't about achieving an Instagram-worth pose, it's about connecting with our bodies and breathing through discomfort.

"Yoga is not about touching your toes, it's what you learn on the way down"

-Jigar Gor

Nice to meet you, personality

Before camp begins, girls will take a short online personality test to better understand themselves. We will use information from the assessments throughout the week to have meaningful discussions about personal strengths, weaknesses, goals and aspirations.

"I'm not perfect. I'm original."
